A company always operates under rules. These rules are always put in place for both the workers and the employers in different capacities. It is both their duties to follow the rules to the letter for the company to grow and operate in a good way. Industrial safety supplies are the equipment put or installed in a company and given to the workers in case of an emergency, such as the fire extinguisher, first aid kit etc.

The employees would work in fear knowing that there are no industrial protective measures accorded to them in an organization. It is the right of the employee to know where the contacts they would well being has been taken care of.

It is mandatory that safety precautions are put in place in an organization. Safety glasses, masks, warm jackets, overalls, boots and fire extinguishers are some of the safety measures used. An individual should be the first to think about their well being by looking for things such as fire extinguisher in case of fire, emergency exit, masks in case of gas, people to call in case of an emergency etc.

Having installed the necessary equipment in place, the employer enjoys benefits such as, a healthy workforce giving good results, no unnecessary leaves due to sickness caused by unhealthy working environment, great output from employees increasing profits in the company, good working relationship between the worker and employer. This also motivates the workers giving them morale to work harder.

The benefits of safety measures to the employees are: they feel safe to work in healthy environment knowing that protective measures are in place, they do not feel like they are risking their lives working in a place that is unsafe. This makes them work better and faster and as a team making the work load easier. And the output is greater.

The disadvantages of not taking firm protection to the management are; they might get their license revoked for being inconsiderate their employees. Poor output from their workers since there are poor working conditions. There might be go-slows and numerous strikes from employees if their safety is not taken into consideration by the management. And an unfortunate event that might happen is the closure of their company, which of course will lead to losses.

Employees also encounter some difficulties due to employer not installing the security measures. They include: sickness because of poor inhaling gas, direct contact with dangerous chemicals, not knowing what to do or who to contact in case of an emergency, low pay as a result of low output in the company, they risk permanent disability due to injuries from the machines also causing low self-esteem.

Therefore, the bottom line remains, individuals should be wary of their working areas, always making sure that their industrial security measures are put in place. They should know that it is their right to work in a safe place and should also know that they can report their employer if their rights are infringed. Individuals should learn to check for the protective precautions in a before starting to work there.
