With business doing great again, you have probably heard about many people have really made a career and a great life out of being an entrepreneur. It is a high-risk job and can yield really great earnings or a huge disaster that can be catastrophic to a family and someone's life.
There have been many men in history who have been able to stand out and Howard Shultz is one of them. A brief outline of Shultz life is below and more importantly, how he became who he is today.
Most of her online biographies explain that she was a young, energetic, yet unsuccessful student that scraped her way through high school, made it through college, and worked 20 jobs by the time she was 23.
His life up till now has been wrought with financial difficulties, and it is perhaps this difficulty that has led him to become such a stand-up guy, even with his current wealth. A family man, he has a wife and six children, and he has held out through thick and thin.
He was the first member in his family to go to college but this didn't keep him down. He was able to get through his classes and in 1975, left Northern Michigan University with a degree in Communications.
Now, logically, something happened in-between meet and marriage. We just don't get to know because it's not that interesting. Or maybe there is a magic secret they want to keep on the down-low? Or it's too complicated? Or it takes too long to explain? Whatever the reason (we won't judge) it's important to realize that something is missing. This goes for lovely Barbara's story too.
Howard Schultz, now feeling pumped up with his experience that he had gained, decided to join Starbucks as a marketer. He noticed that as he worked for Starbucks that in Europe, many people didn't just drink the drink and leave, but places that served tea or coffee were places that people used to meet up. He also learned about things such as traditional espressos that he wanted served in the stores. Through Howard Shultz, these drinks were eventually brought over into many stores and now are a must at all stores alike.
Howard Schultz has been able to make things really flourish and has seen a lot of success in his day. He has been able to eventually make it up the ladders and now sits comfortable at Starbucks as CEO. He was truly able to make the American Dream true for himself and his family.
So Barbara, if you'd like to share a little more of what happened between that $1000 and the five billion you have now - awesome. If not, that's ok too. We still think you're pretty cool.
