Due to the nature of the coating, they are used in applications which involve high precision and high quality production of products.

It increases performance and also longevity due to slow wearing out. Treated steel actually wear out more times than tungsten carbide coating. The slow wearing out rate ensure the integrity of the part is maintained and more time in the field.
