If overtime hours are to be applied to meet the deadliest deadline then make sure it will not affect your budget.

You need to make sure that the team is properly assemble in the process. You have to get all of them together then do a meeting to dialog with the people involved. Experts should be hired for it. Expertise is vital because the task can be crucial and if they are not experts then success would be impossible.

Be sure to detail each task. Identify all components upon the completion of the project. Determine as well those that require more attention and consideration. It could be the guests, place and other necessary factors. You should simplify the items to ensure better understanding of the project that will be implemented.

Assign a certain team or individual that is in charge of various components. Work with all the people involved and spell out all details to achieve the common goal. The people involved should understand all options including cost limitations and perform selections that support the scope. You should also list the smaller steps given the larger ones and depending on its complexity.

Another is creating the preliminary plans for it. Analyze the required steps for every plan. You have to also create a precedence table to determine the proper order of the necessary components. Determine which path is more critical based on its network diagram then focus on it. Order all the activities involved then determine the issues so that it will be addressed immediately without ruining the project.

A baseline plan should also be created. Do it by collecting the feedback on the first plan from your group and stakeholders. Adjust the timeline or the schedule to meet the target time. There are adjustment to be made to the plan to acquire the targeted outcome of the projects which are assigned to you.

The truth is there is almost never enough money, time or talent that may be assigned to the project. The job of a manager is to make use of the limited resources no matter how unrealistic it could be. Make a case then present it so that a request for change will be made. Do not wait until it is trouble to ask for it.
