Management and management training used to be the big buzz words in business but that has changed. These days leaders, instead of managers, run companies and self directed teams. Teams are tasked with specific goals and they have quite a lot of say in how they plan to achieve those goals. But for teams to work effectively, they need to be lead well. Coaches do not advise or take a hand in the affairs of their clients. They are merely there to motivate, to act as sounding board and to sometimes play the role of devils advocate. This helps leaders to put theory into practice.

All successful companies recognize the need for string, decisive and inspiration leadership throughout the organization. That is why they invest heavily in development programs. These programs often pay very handsome dividends over the long term and should be viewed as sound investments in the company itself.
