There is usually a competent team behind every successful magazine. There are a number of important roles that ensure that the publication made attracts a huge following. The team behind the publication can work on full term policy or can be a group of freelance hires. They also monitor the content created so as to make sure that it maintains its importance.

Publishers also market their magazines to various other stakeholders in different industries. They recruit a sales team who are charged with the responsibility of selling advertising slots to companies dealing with consumer goods and services as well as advertising companies. The kind of advertisement published in the magazine is however guided by some stipulated policies set up by the publisher.

The experts are also given power over financial control. They are tasked with the duty of balancing the revenue and profits made. This is supposed to act as a marketing strategy in making the paper known to more people.
