Ceremonies are just there to commemorate the life of that deceased person. It is simply to say goodbye to that person since no one would ever see them again. Or at least no one will ever see them again in this life. So it is simply a ceremony held out of respect and gratitude for the person who is crossed over.

While some people who can afford it believe in going on out and spending a lot of money on luxurious caskets and all kinds of floats for the ceremony, other people prefer to have a basic ceremony in respect and out of love for the deceased loved one. So your budget will pay a huge role in the type of ceremony you have for your deceased loved one.

So don't hesitate to invest in the ceremony if you do have the money to do so. Alternatively if you are working on a tight budget, try and cut costs wherever you can. As long as you take care of all of the basic necessities that you need to and the ceremonies carried out with respect and diligence, then there's no reason future stress about doing anything over and above that.
