Different companies have different end goals when establishing a business in certain locality. The sewing manufacturing company Minnesota are not to be excluded from this. A major thing they aim at doing is reducing lead times. Lead time is basically the duration between the start and accomplishment of a certain process. They try to shorten this duration and in turn they are able to produce more.

Also, they aim at reducing the cost. The cost is of both manufacturing and selling. This however, does not mean that the quality is substandard. They try to cut down on overhead expenses and try to merge several processes together to save in cash spent on intermediaries.

By use of state of art machines the firm achieves a multiple of benefits. Among these benefits are, faster production which in turn leads to increased output, saves on time, makes goods of better quality and of more visual appeal. It is better to have slightly more dear goods than cheap poor quality ones.

Improvement of material utilization is another intent. Instead of hauling away scrap material it can be used as embellishments for another piece of clothing. As it goes, one mans meat is another mans poison. Case in point, Surplus lace material can be used as material on the bodice of another article of clothing. Another example is if you have excess jeans material, it can be used to make pockets of a casual shirt or a dress.

Improve material utilization is also key. This helps curb wastage of fabric as well as expenses. Instead of throwing away excess fabric they can be used to make other clothes. For example, surplus cotton fabric can be used to make decorations on toddler apparel. Also excess organza can be used to layer up bridal regalia as well as evening wear.

Getting right the demo graphical needs of the people. Demography is in relation to population structure. The companies need to make the right clothes for the right age group in right amounts. There are few elderly people in area so clothes for the elderly should be made in limited amounts The number of children below four years is quite high, the companies should make clothes that the material and size is best suited for the toddlers .

Another factor is to reduce lead times. Lead time is simply the duration between the beginning to the actualization of a process. The shorter the time, the better it is for the business. This can be achieved by a couple of things including, creating vendor management inventories, working in parallel, this means running various manufacturing processes concurrently, increasing capacity of both, human and mechanical labor in that firm among other ways.

In conclusion, fulfilling the statistical demographic needs. This simply means making apparel suitable for all populations. The greater population of Minnesota is between the ages of thirty five to forty five. The companies should make more clothes for them that are not only of visual appeal but are also considered fashionable to them as well.
