Most of the founders of the human population were camped or lived next to water sources, their lives revolved around the rivers, lakes springs and other natural sources. This was because they knew too well that without water life would have been a constant gamble between life and death. They used it for various different daily reasons thus they had to abide next to the source. This lead to the people coming up with Texas water well drilling ideas as a means to source this commodity.

Due to the dry conditions in Texas, they had to make wells which involved excavation, boring and drilling in order to reach the earths surface that contains rock water, since rain was not reliable and surface liquid was more often than not unavailable.

The diversity in the kind of wells leads to a diversity in the methods used to fetch the water from the wells. Narrow wells encouraged the use of pumps since no other vessel could be used. While some used pumps others used containers and jars, this method was suitable in areas where wells are wide and its width could allow the usage of containers. Depth was also a factor to consider in the wells, some people used buckets attached to ropes in order to access the commodity which was a commonality in this state.

The situation to drill a bore hole will vary from one region to another this is because the rocks that hold the liquid vary in many contexts, some are harder than others some are found deeper in the ground while some contain lower levels of it than the others also the council had a role to play.

The municipal council in this city has an oversight authority that controls wells in this region. Here they determine how close a well can be located to the people and other facilities. They determine how safe the well is for the local to consume. Their role also includes licensing of these wells.

Apart from purchase and approval of a license being one of the costs, the other costs incurred are the cost of transportation of machinery from the company site to the actual site, the drilling costs and other miscellaneous expenses are also inclusive of the total cost of digging the pit. The rock texture will also determine the expense of digging of the well since they vary in intensity.

Wells have proven to be an advantage to people of this land since time in memorial; this is because the wells are reliable and predictable in terms of its availability. It also lowers their monthly bill since it is charge free to the owner.

Drilling and owning a well does not come challenge free since there is the cost of maintenance, one for licensing and other minute expenses; but given the benefits that come with this investment, investing in one is worth the sacrifice.
